Shoreview City Hall DescriptionShoreview City Hall administrative offices underwent a renovation to reflect their city’s brand as a “distinctive and vibrant community recognized as one of the most desirable places to live, work and do business”. Year end funding allowed the team to invest in the renovation. Time and money were the major constraints. Floors by Beckers engaged their own team to design and project manage the flooring project.

During the planning phase, a site visit identified the existing broadloom adhesive had legs. It was determined early on the rider machine was a necessary resource to efficiently prepare the floor for installation. Utilizing the machine for demolition saved approximately a weeks worth of manual labor to demo the floor, both a time and money savings for the client. The Milliken carpet tile felt backing is versatile to accept existing issues in the flooring substrate. Milliken’s Color Field product allowed the client to blend in just enough green color accents in their carpet plank installation.

Due to the project planning, communication and a skilled field team, the furniture installation was able to begin 2 days ahead of schedule. Floors by Beckers was able to satisfy the client’s needs and continue to support the account they have been partnering with for over 20 years.
